Educket (“we”, “us”) is run by Sahil Rajput, an individual based in New Delhi, Delhi, India. You can reach us at sahil@educket.com.

What we collect

  • Account: if you sign in with Apple or Google, your name and email address (Apple may give us a private relay address instead). If you use Educket as a guest, we create an anonymous account with no name or email.
  • Your choices: the three topics you pick, your role, your time zone, and the avatar you choose.
  • Learning activity: the topics you swipe, the lessons you open or finish, your progress through each step, your own rating, and the time you spend.
  • Your explanations: the short text you write when you explain a topic back. For Pro members this text is sent to an AI service to give feedback (see below).
  • Topic requests and reports: what you ask for and anything you flag inside a lesson.
  • Purchases: whether you have an active subscription, its plan and its dates. We never see your card or payment details; Apple handles payment.
  • Your phone: a random id stored in your phone's keychain (it stays if you delete and reinstall the app), used only to count free guest lessons per phone; your reminder time; and, if you allow notifications, a push notification token so we can tell you when a lesson you asked for is ready.
  • Technical data: crash reports and basic usage events, linked to an anonymous user id rather than your name or email.

How we use it

  • To run the app: your account, your progress, your daily picks and your free lessons.
  • To give Pro feedback on your explanations and to build lessons you request.
  • To manage subscriptions and restore purchases.
  • To find and fix problems and to see which lessons help people learn.
  • We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

Who helps us run Educket

  • Supabase, which stores account and learning data (servers in Tokyo, Japan).
  • Apple and Google, for signing in, and Apple for subscriptions.
  • RevenueCat, to manage subscription status.
  • OpenAI, which receives the text of an explanation when a Pro member asks for feedback.
  • PostHog (usage events) and Sentry (crash reports), using an anonymous user id.
  • Expo, which delivers push notifications if you allow them.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, progress, swipes, saved topics, requests and reports. Some subscription records may be kept where the law requires it.

Your choices and rights

You can change your interests and details in the app, and delete your account from Me → Delete account in the app or at educket.com/delete-account. You may also ask us to give you a copy of your data or to correct it by emailing sahil@educket.com.

Who Educket is for

Educket is for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you are a parent or guardian and think a child younger than 13 has used Educket, email us and we will delete their data.

Questions and complaints

If you have a question or a complaint about your data, contact Sahil Rajput at sahil@educket.com. We reply as soon as we can and within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will say so in the app.
